tip is a research and consulting program for Austria's research, technology and innovation policy, commissioned by the Federal Ministry of Transport, Innovation and Technology (bmvit), the Federal Ministry of Science, Education and Culture (bm:bwk) and the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Labour (bmwa).

tip is a joint project of Austria's leading research institutes in the field: The Austrian Institute of Economic Research (WIFO) - prime contractor in charge of the project coordination and management - Joanneum Research and ARC systems research GmbH.
